Strawberry Parfait Pie

1 large container frozen strawberries
water
1 box strawberry jello
1 pint vanilla ice cream
1-9" pie crust
1 container cool whip

Thaw strawberries and strain juice. Add enough water to make 2 cups liquid. Heat to a boil. Pour over strawberry jello and dissolve thoroughly. Spoon in 1 pint vanilla ice cream and stir until all melted. Add strawberries. Set in refrigerator until mixture jells. Mix good. pour into baked 9" pie shell. Set in refrigerator. Top with Cool whip.
