Spider bread

1. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup of warm water.
2. Add and mix together:
1/3 cup dry milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
3/4 cup warm water
3-1/2 cup flour
3. Mix until smooth. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Stir dough. Let it rise again for 30 minutes.
4. Divide dough into 6 pieces. Divide 1 piece into two: one is the body, the other is for the legs. Divide the leg one into 8 pieces. Roll the 8 pieces into 8 snakes. Pinch each snake onto the body. Cut two tips off two legs. Stick the tips onto the spider to make eyes. Brush with milk. Let rise for 2o minutes.
