Fudgey Brownie

3/4 cup Hershey cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2/3 cup oil
1/2 cup boiling water (measured accurately)
2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1-1/3 cup unsifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Stir cocoa and baking soda in bowl. Blend in 1/3 cup oil. Add boiling water; stir until thickens. Stir in sugar, eggs and remaining 1/3 cup oil. Stir until smooth. Add flour, vanilla and salt. Blend completely. Pour into greased 13x9 pan or 2 8" square pans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes (13x9) or 30-32 minutes (8" square) Cool
Frost, if desired.
