Best Ever Muffins

1-3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 well-beaten egg
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup salad oil

Mix dry ingredients into bowl, make well in center. Combine egg, milk and oil. Add all at once to dry ingredients. Stir until ingredients are moist. Fill greased muffin tin 2/3 full.

Bake at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes.
Makes 12

*Bonus idea #1: Fill tin 1/3 full, add dollop of favorite jelly, then cover with remaining batter
*Bonus idea #2: When muffins come out of oven, dip tops in melted butter and roll in cinnamon- sugar mixture
