Applesauce Jello Salad

1 pkg jello
1/2 cup boiled water
1-1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 cup applesauce
1 cup frozen fruit (partially thawed)

Boil water, add to jello. Mix until jello is dissolved. Add lemon juice, applesauce and fruit.

This is my signature dish for family gatherings. It is also a required dish for Thanksgiving and Christmas at our house. My Grandma Staniford always made it with raspberries, but I usually make it with strawberries. I also always double the recipe.
