2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 sticks margarine
1 cup water
4 Tbsp. cocoa
Mix flour and sugar in large mixing bowl. Add buttermilk, eggs, vanilla, soda and cinnamon. Stir until combined. Bring to boil margarine, water and cocoa. Add to mixture. Pour into 12x15x1 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Let cool, then frost with frosting below.
Frosting:
1 stick margarine
4 Tbsp. cocoa
6 Tbsp. water
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
My mom used to make this cake when I was growing up... It is so yummy! She always sprinkled the top with powdered sugar, too!
